In plain terms: run it, modify it, and redistribute it freely. The AGPL adds one condition beyond the GPL that matters for self-hosted software. If you run a modified version as a network service, you have to offer your users the modified source. Running it unmodified for your own team carries no such obligation, and nothing in the license restricts what you say in it.
The name
Section titled “The name”The Slick name and logo are not covered by the AGPL and are not granted with it. The reason is narrow: the license keeps the code open, and it does that well, but it does not stop someone running an unmodified copy as a commercial service under the same name, which would confuse users about who is responsible for what they are paying for.
You may, without asking: run Slick for any purpose, say truthfully that your product runs on Slick or is built on Slick, use the name to refer to the project in writing and talks, distribute unmodified builds under the name, and name a plugin or tool in a way that makes the relationship clear.
Please ask first before: naming a hosted service Slick, using the logo as your own, distributing a modified build under the name, or suggesting your product is official or endorsed.
Fork freely. Give the fork its own name and say plainly that it is a fork of Slick.
